Ashley was born in Albuquerque, raised in Illinois, and attended Columbia College Chicago before moving to Los Angeles several years ago. She has worked as an assistant editor on both unscripted television and most recently, independent features. She co-hosts a podcast called The Cutaways where she and her friend Justine watch every romantic comedy in chronological order and discusses it.
